MIB is a guarantee fund for the victims of uninsured and untraced motor vehicle crimes. We are a single site operation, employing over 300 members of staff. In 2007 we took water treatment services out of our main PPM contract and appointed Aqua Analyse to look after these areas for us. We were impressed by their knowledge and experience and have been able to identify several areas for improvement which were missed by our previous water treatment contractor, as well as making a saving on our budgetted costs. My name is William Opere, I am the Accident Prevention Manager of the Health and Safety team at the London Borough of Hounslow. We have, on occasion, the need to seek the services of outside Water Management Company to assist us with our work.
As these types of matters tend to be unpredictable, when seeking outside services we therefore need to ensure that the contractor can meet expected standards and also be in a position to respond to emergency situations.
